Recently several of our readers encountered the following problem: they were not able to make a purchase with a credit card on Google Play Store. Instead of a successful transaction, the message “An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later. Error code: [OR-IEH-01]” appeared in the screen. Moreover, some users have failed at the stage of adding a credit card to Google Payments, while others have faced the similar error trying to make a payment from an already added card.
According to the Google Play Help Forum experts, there are several reasons why such an error can arise:
- Using a VPN or other similar programs;
- Custom firmware or root access;
- The place of residence and the primary language are not indicated correctly in your Google account.
It’s worth making sure that the place of residence and the primary language in the Google Play account is correctly indicated. However, practice indicates that the heart of the problem is an inactive or blocked Google Wallet account. In the last case, you will receive the following letter on the email address provided during the registration of Google Play account:
We were unable to verify some information in your Google Account, so we have temporarily suspended your account. Until we verify your account information and reactivate your account, you may be unable to buy things from Google or use some Google products.

To get rid of the error [OR-IEH-01] it is necessary to carefully read the rules of filling out the form and attach the following documents:
- Identification document issued by the relevant state;
- Any document that indicates your name and address, such as a bank statement or an utility bill.
After receiving a notification in your email that the account has been unlocked you can try to add your credit card to make sure that the [OR-IEH-01] error is fixed.
